Returns & Exchanges FAQ
Return Requirements
Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in original saleable condition with all tags attached and original packaging included.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that are:
- Soiled or marked with makeup
- Scented with perfume or body odour
- Altered, adjusted, washed, or dry cleaned
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.
How To Lodge a Return
To initiate your return via our Returns Portal CLICK HERE and follow the prompts.
- If you selected Checkout + option at time of purchase, a return shipping label will be sent to you via email once your request has been approved.
- If you did not opt in for Checkout + you can purchase return postage through our portal for $14.95.
Please note:
- All returns must be processed online via our Returns Portal.
- Orders placed with our Try Before You Buy Service must be lodged via the Try With Mirra Portal.
Where do I send my return?
Please post your item to the address below and we'll let you know when your request has been processed. Return postage costs will be at your expense unless the item is faulty.

Do you offer returns and exchanges?
Yes, we offer both!
Full priced item(s) - Eligible for exchange, store credit or refund.
Sale styles/Promotions - Exchange only or gift card.
Outlet styles - Final Sale No refunds or exchanges.
Returns Processing Time
Refund - we'll process your refund as soon as possible, but please note that it can sometimes take your financial institution up to 3-5 business days to clear the funds back into your account.
Gift Card - we'll process your gift card immediately, this will be sent to your preferred email address. You'll be able to use the gift card online and in-store.
Can I return online orders in-store?
To obtain a refund/exchange for your online purchase in person:
Simply return the item to one of our three Melbourne Boutiques (Ashburton, Brighton & Camberwell) with your original receipt and product tags. Your order will be processed and refunded to the original payment method used during your online purchase and a notification will be sent to you by email.
In-Store Returns Policy
FULL PRICE ITEM(S)
We do not refund for change of mind. A store credit note or exchange is offered when goods are returned within 14 days of purchase with a store receipt.
SALE ITEM(S)
There is no refund on SALE items. An exchange of goods on the day of return is offered if returned within 7 days of purchase. No credit note is offered.
REFUNDS
All refunded stock must be accompanied by proof of purchase and have original tags attached. A gift card (store credit) will be issued for goods that were purchased at full price. The gift card can be used in-store or online.
Faulty Item(s)
Here at Silvermaple Boutique, we take pride in ensuring our customers can receive their items in pristine condition.
However, if in the unfortunate circumstance you believe you have been sent a faulty item, please email our customer support team at onlinesales@silvermaple.com.au or contact us on +61 3 9808 2295 to assist and assess the faulty garment.
What happens if I return items without following the terms and conditions?
If we receive a return request that does not comply with our Sale or Outlet Terms & Conditions, we will contact you directly via mobile or email.
As stated in our Outlet Terms & Conditions, all Outlet styles are final sale and are strictly not eligible for refunds, returns, or exchanges.
If an Outlet item is returned outside of these terms, we offer two options. You may choose to have the item returned back to you at a postage cost of $10, or you may elect for us to donate the item to the Red Cross on your behalf.
